hi everyone!

just been really busy. we just got back from Washington DC which was awesome (and HOT)!!! 90 degrees and mugginess and getting myself back in gear with school starting soon. I will have some new projects up and hope everyone is having a rocking summer!

did you really think LeBron was going to the Knicks?

Let's get real people... its all about winning and the Knicks are not there yet and with the signing of Amare Stoudemire there is still work to do and people to see. D'Antoni is not an easy coach either which boggles my mind as to why Amare came here when he knows what he is dealing with coach-wise. Nothing personal, the NBA is a business and that is why players go where they can win and all about the $$$ even if its a bit less, they make alot coming in and young and if they pan out to superstar status, they can then call the shots and its strictly business... nothing personal and the Knicks do not have enough to lure LeBron here. nuf said. Let the 'King' move onto the next Castle even if it is the retired, hot and shallow world of Miami. I love Dwyane though!

been so busy with soccer practices, games and tournaments and not to mention the full time job and other duties. anyways, here are my latest cards. The thank yous are for the generous souls who let us Pumas use their practice field and Mother's Day for my mother in law done with zany zinnia kit. enjoy!

Image was a freebie from odd girl stamps. colored in with copics B00, B02 and B05; YG11, YG63 and B37. I also used QK balloon, bakers twine for string and nesties for scallop circle. TFL.

29 hours without power but now we are juiced up again

in all my years living in NY i have never seen the winds pick up the way they did this weekend. a tree went down a few blocks from here and knocked all the power out. we survived with ice in the cooler for the milk and foods we were using and kept the fridge closed. we had candles, flashlights and booklights for power and itouch for a movie. how is that for survival of one of the first over 24 hour power outtages there is so much we take for granted until its not here. so many others still without power i hope the power companies get them juiced up soon. enjoy your day.

here are a few cards i worked on this week... 2 greeting farm images and the sweet 16 is a stampin up image. the flowers i worked on... the tutorial is at leah's blog and i used dictionary pages and glimmer mist along with MM brads. TFL.

these are some cards i made with The Greeting Farm stamps. colored in with prismas, baby oil and copics. these are really fun to make and do!

Loving using the copics!

got myself a couple of the copic markers and OMG they color so wonderfully and have been using them with prismacolor pencils another dream to work with. I will be posting some things I have been working on... rock on!

i haven't blogged

but i've been in a rut lately... i've got some new things and am just starting to get cranking again. the shot in the arm i needed was from www.thegreetingfarm.com those images are so CUTE! i am working on coloring them but am also waiting for some copic colors i needed. once i get all my ducks in a row i will complete my cards and post them... but seriously.. who knew images can be so cute! and all the digi freebies out there. wow! see ya soon.

I am secretly a sports nut and watch all there is to watch. You may catch a comment here and there who knows but I do know this: Gilbert Arenas was an idiot to bring guns to the arena. Can you spell 'what was he thinking? not' LOL.
he may get banned for life and for what? to carry a stinking firearm. You can take the thug away from the surroundings but a thug is a thug. Get over it and grow up. you are making millions what more do you need? my goodness you've just lost it all and then some. There. just had to get that out.
