29 hours without power but now we are juiced up again

in all my years living in NY i have never seen the winds pick up the way they did this weekend. a tree went down a few blocks from here and knocked all the power out. we survived with ice in the cooler for the milk and foods we were using and kept the fridge closed. we had candles, flashlights and booklights for power and itouch for a movie. how is that for survival of one of the first over 24 hour power outtages there is so much we take for granted until its not here. so many others still without power i hope the power companies get them juiced up soon. enjoy your day.
