Happy belated Thanksgiving hope everyone enjoyed their holiday. I am very thankful to be alive, have a job, family, food on the table and roof over my head. Working on cards now and hope to be putting those up. bye for now!

how's it going?

well well well... its been a busy week with soccer and school stuff but its slowing down a bit. Next weekend will be our last soccer week and then its Thanksgiving. Woohoo!

Qk bunny halloween container!

I had an empty tang canister, i covered it with halloween paper and cut out the QK bunny in halloween colors. Voila instant giving for a special person.

hi everyone! getting into a groove taking megi to middle school and soccer practice and soccer games! hope everyone is doing well.

some new quickutz!

i had to get the polka dot embossing folder and the scallop oval are some fun new things to create with... I just wish i had some mojo. will force myself tonite to do a few cards. Megi started middle school and i am having such a hard time letting go but i know i have to its part of life. Why don't they tell you these things when you are preggo that you have to let go. I want to hold on with all my might LOL.
Feeling much better today that sinus infection knocked me down a bit. I want to thank my darling hubby for being so great this summer chauffering Megi to camps and such. I don't know what i would have done. hasta la vista!

its been 3 weeks since you left us

today I will say goodbye to my baby brother scotty and see him one last time. I want to hear your voice again. i feel you in my heart and love you always!

still devastated

it will be quite some time before i am myself again (if ever). getting myself mentally ready for the funeral tomorrow and just getting through this... i don't wish this on anyone, burying your child has got to be the worst thing i've ever heard of and he's just my brother but he was like my baby to me too. love ya scott!

the process... of creating

what is your process for creating? is it from inspiration from what you have seen or hope to see or something that you just do? For me its a bit of both. I want to create something for the sheer enjoyment but something can steer me in the direction of it. It can be a layout in a magazine, a blog whose work is something i love and want to do or sketches. I think about it though and just love to create and the whole process.

craziness!

its craziness i tell ya... baked chocolate chip cookies last night for Meg's 5th Grade Bake Sale as school. the kids had to sell their yummy creations to their younger classmates and it was a blast. I think Ms. Hart's class racked up on the dough for 5th grade activities. R&G had their first round of layoff 106 to be exact among all the offices. I still cannot focus here on anything! I hope this is it because i get so upset when i hear someone lost their job. hope the economy picks up.
